Open-world action-RPG Wuthering Waves‘ collaboration with the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime has gotten a June 2026 launch window. An accompanying preview video shows the latter’s main heroine Lucy and popular supporting character Rebecca in Solaris, with protagonist David making a brief appearance towards the end.

“Word is, the netrunner has her sights on the moon…” says the trailer’s narrator, the radio host Stanley from the Cyberpunk universe, right before David shows up onscreen. “A beautiful story with one teensy problem… She’ll have to pick one first!”

It was also announced that Rebecca will be obtainable for free as a 5-Star character.

Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners‘ collaboration was announced last April. That year was a fairly active one for the latter, with the anime getting a North American Blu-ray release and the English release of the Rebecca-centric spin-off manga Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS, Lucy’s addition to the fighting game GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-, and the announcement of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 with Kai Ikarashi (Cyberpunk Edgerunners episode 6 storyboard artist et al.) as director.

Wuthering Waves recently received its Version 3.3 update, Reverbs From the End of Galaxies BACK, on April 30. The Kuro Games-developed gacha title will launch on Xbox Series X/S this July, after being previously released for mobile, PC,  PlayStation 5 and macOS.
