The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Jason Fuchs (Argylle writer, co-story credit on Wonder Woman, Ice Age 4 co-screenwriter) will handle writing duties for My Hero Academia‘s live-action film adaptation.
The outlet added that Kingdom and Alice in Borderland‘s Shinsuke Sato is still onboard as director.
The My Hero Academia live-action film was announced in 2018. Netflix and Legendary are collaborating on the production.
The original Weekly Shonen Jump manga by Kohei Horikoshi ran from 2014 to 2024. Viz Media describes the manga as:

The eighth season of the manga’s TV anime adaptation, My Hero Academia Final Season, is set to premiere on October 4 and has been picked up by Crunchyroll. Beyond the TV anime and original manga, My Hero Academia has expanded to include anime movies, video games, and the Vigilantes spin-off.
