During this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Crunchyroll announced the launch of Crunchyroll Anime Nights — a new monthly theatrical program that will launch in more than 225 theaters in the U.S. later this year, starting October 2025.
Crunchyroll Anime Nights will screen in select theaters every third Monday of the month across several chains such as Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, AMC Theatres, Regal, Cinemark Theatres, Harkins Theatres, and Landmark Cinemas.
Crunchyroll’s upcoming slate for the new program is listed as follows:
October 20, 2025
- • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A lonely dragon wants to be loved
November 17, 2025
- • OVERLORD – A Celebration of the Anime’s 10th Anniversary
- ○ The first seven episodes of season one will screen in theaters.
December 15, 2025
- • Crunchyroll Anime Nights: Secret Sneak Peek
- ○ An exclusive first look at some of the hottest anime series before they become available on Crunchyroll.
More information about participating locations and tickets on sale will be announced at a later date.
