HIDIVE has announced that it plans to host a special preview panel for the upcoming The Dangers in My Heart compilation anime film at this year’s Anime Expo convention. The event takes place from July 3, 2025 to July 6, 2025.
The special panel will be presented in partnership with TV Asahi and will spotlight the first compilation film in the romantic comedy series, which was first announced during the Fan Appreciation Project!! event in Tokyo, Japan. It will take place at the Diamond Ballroom in the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE on July 4, 2025 from 8:00 PM to 8:50 PM PST.
The panel will include a Q&A discussion with three The Dangers in My Heart production staff, consisting of director Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san) and producers Yosuke Sakurai and Kazuki Endo.
The Dangers in My Heart compilation film will compile seasons one and two of the series together with brand new animation sequences. The first season aired for 12 episodes in 2023 and the second season aired for 13 episodes in 2024.
The recent second season retained many of the production staff from season. Besides Akagi as director, the staff included Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Superstar!!) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets) as character designer, and Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man) as music composer. Shin-Ei Animation is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

- • Megumi Han as Moeko Sekine

Norio Sakurai’s romantic comedy manga series has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website since July 10, 2018. The series is published under the Shonen Champion Comics label and has released 11 tankobon volumes as of November 2024. A 12th volume will be released in Japan on June 6, 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the series for release in English.
