The Dangers in My Heart anime is getting a compilation film that will include new footage.

An announcement video and a commemorative illustration by The Dangers in My Heart creator Norio Sakurai have been released.

The original Akita Shoten-published manga debuted in 2018 and has 10 tankoubon volumes as of April 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment describes its premise as:

Quirky courtship awaits in this comedy nominated for the 2020 Manga Taisho Award!

Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!

The first season of the romantic comedy anime ran from April to June 2023, while Season 2 aired during the Winter 2024 anime season. HIDIVE and Bilibili stream the series.
