Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada have once again claimed the Couple/Ship of the Year award. If their relationship in The Dangers in My Heart Season 1 was described as “dangerously sweet” in the 10th Anime Trending Awards, their portrayal in Season 2 elevated that sweetness to new heights, earning them the award for a second consecutive year at the 11th Anime Trending Awards!
The pairing won 7,073 out of 82,968 votes, just 41 votes ahead of the second-place pairing, Ken x Momo from DAN DA DAN, which won 7,032 votes. This year’s competition for Couple/Ship of the Year was close, with many nominees separated by only a few hundred votes, making this one of the most competitive categories of the year.
During the Winter 2024 season, Kyotaro x Anna not only placed first for nine consecutive weeks in their respective character charts, but also quickly claimed the top spot of the couple/ship rankings and dominated the charts for the rest of the season. The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 went on to win a total of eight awards in the Winter 2024 Seasonal Awards.
Aside from the Couple/Ship of the Year Award, The Dangers in My Heart also won four more awards in the 11th Anime Trending Awards.
