Yukinobu Tatsu‘s DAN DA DAN manga has been named as one of the winners of the 71st Shogakukan Manga Awards.

Joining the zany sci-fi occult manga (which is serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+) were Futa Kimura‘s Fate Rewinder (Shogakukan’s Corocoro Comic), Ryohei Tamura‘s COSMOS (Shogakukan’s Sunday GX), Natsumi Eguchi‘s Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole (Kodansha’s Morning), and Keigo Shinzo‘s Hirayasumi (Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits).

The awards also named Moto Hagio (The Poe Clan, Heart of Thomas) the recipient of the Special Jury Award.

Of the manga winners, DAN DA DAN and Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole have recent TV anime adaptations (with DAN DA DAN getting a new season in 2027), while the remainder (bar COSMOS) will get their own in the future. DAN DA DAN, Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole, COSMOS, and Hirayasumi can be read in English.

Update: Made correction to note that COSMOS does not have an anime announced.
