Futa Kimura‘s Fate Rewinder (Unmei no Makimodoshi) manga is getting a Bones Film-produced TV anime adaptation with Rie Matsumoto (Blood Blockade Battlefront) as director.
A “super teaser” trailer and “super teaser” visual were released as well.
Fate Rewinder tells the story of an organization who saves those who meet tragic ends, no matter how many attempts it takes. Its members are equipped with the “Retry Eye,” which is embedded within their right eye.
The manga began serialization in Shogakukan’s Corocoro Comic in 2022 and has nine volumes as of April 2025. It was originally a one-shot.
