The Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast anime series has released a short trailer and key visual for the upcoming second season, with an announcement that the series will premiere in October 2025. The trailer features the main highlights from the first season.

The opening theme song was also announced and is titled “Toryanse,” and will be sung by Nao Toyama, the voice of the main character Aoi Tsubaki. Masayoshi Oishi is in charge of the lyrics, music composition, and arrangement. The CD will be released on November 5, 2025, JST.

Furthermore, Crunchyroll has announced that it will be streaming the second season when it premieres.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits is a light novel series written by Midori Yuma and illustrated by Laruha. It was published under Kadokawa’s Fujimi L Bunko label and ran from 2015 to 2022 with 12 volumes. Alongside the anime adaptation, the series also inspired a manga adaptation and a stage play. The first season of the anime adaptation aired from April 2018 to September 2018.

Viz Media has licensed and published the manga in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime and describes its synopsis as:

After losing her grandfather, Aoi—a girl who can see spirits known as ayakashi—is suddenly approached by an ogre. Demanding she pay her grandfather’s debt, he makes a huge request: her hand in marriage! Refusing this absurd offer, Aoi decides to work at the Tenjin-ya bed and breakfast for the ayakashi to pay back what her family owes.
