Crunchyroll says that it’s bringing “specially curated” anime to Delta Air Lines later in 2025.

This selection will be available via Delta Sync Wi-Fi in addition to the airline’s seatback screens.

Additionally, the anime streamer will offer a 24-hour free trial to SkyMiles members who login to Delta Sync Wi-Fi.

There’s currently no word on what sort of anime is included in the deal, or how big the selection will be, but expect further details on what the partnership brings later in the year.

Crunchyroll is naturally looking to net some long-term viewers with this expansion. Its president Rahul Purini said in a prepared statement, “Fans can go deep on one series or sample one episode of many series – from action to adventure, romance and more. And when they get hooked they can continue their experience on the Crunchyroll app.”

Crunchyroll adds that this offering will be “available exclusively” at Delta.

Crunchyroll previously expanded its footprint to YouTube Primetime and smart TVs. Beyond anime, it’s also looking to hook manga readers with an upcoming manga app.
