A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer! TV anime series, which previews the main ending theme song. The series will begin streaming in Japan on the d Anime Store and ABEMA services on July 5, 2025, before airing on Japanese TV stations on July 10, 2025.
The ending theme previewed in the trailer is “Hikari Sasu Tobira” by singer Choucho, which was revealed earlier this month.
Hiroshi Tamada (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement) is directing the anime series, Akihiko Inari (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement) as series screenwriter, and Yuta Ito (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement co-sub-character designer) as character designer, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone: New World) and Tsubasa Handa as music composers. Felix Film is handling the animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Daisuke Hirose as Cross
- • Yuichiro Umehara as Dacgus
The anime is based on the web novel Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madōshi, S-Rank Bōkensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madoshi ga Kikakugai Sugiru, which was originally written by Sora Suigetsu on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2020. Futabasha then published the light novels with new illustrations by DeeCHA on November 30, 2020. Seven volumes have been released as of November 2024, with the two most recent volumes being released exclusively as digital ebooks.
A manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno was launched on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website on January 22, 2021. Nine tankobon volumes have been released as of May 2025.
Crunchyroll will stream the Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer! anime series, and describes the main synopsis as:
“We don’t need a useless white mage.”
Lloyd is a white mage who was unexpectedly banished from the hero’s party. As he was lost and uncertain, he happened to cross paths with an S-rank adventurer party in need of a white mage, so he joined them on their quest. Little did anyone know at the time that the hero’s party would fall apart and Lloyd would rise to fame.
This is a story about an unmatched support magic user, who believes himself to be ordinary, becoming an unstoppable adventurer.
