The Yuusha Party o Tsuihou Sareta Shiro Madoushi, S Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru ~Kono Shiro Madoushi ga Kikakugai sugiru~ anime adaptation has received its first non-teaser trailer.

It was also announced that Marina Inoue is joining the cast as Merlin.

Yuusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi is based on the manga drawn by Wasabi Mukuno, which adapts the light novel series written by Sora Suigetsu. The premise sees the White Mage Lloyd being ditched by the Hero’s Party due to his perceived lack of ability. Unbeknownst to the Hero’s Party, Lloyd is actually the disciple of a missing great sage, and can use support magic that is beyond the norm. After being cast out by the Hero’s Party, Lloyd becomes an adventurer while under the impression that he is nothing special.

Yuusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi started as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in March 2020. Futabasha publishes both the light novels and the manga, with the latter serialized in Gaugau Monster+. The light novels are illustrated by DeeCHA.
