A third new episode visual has been unveiled for the upcoming Clevatess -Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha- TV anime series. The anime will premiere in Japan in July 2025.
The latest visual highlights the members of the 13 Heroes preparing for their battle against the Demon King. It is part of a series of episodic visuals that depict events before the anime’s main story starts.
An accompanying video with instrumental music for the visual was also released.
Kiyotaka Taguchi (SSSS.DYNAZENON Ep 5 kaiju designer, main director of Ultraman X and Ultraman Orb) is directing the anime series, with Keigo Koyanagi (Brave Bang Bravern) as series screenwriter, Soichiro Sako (Buddy Daddies) as character designer, and Nobuaki Nobusawa (Mr. Villain’s Day Off) as music composer. Lay-duce is in charge of the animation production.
Some of the additional staff that are working on the series include Takuro Tsukada as animation director, Atsushi Morikawa (RE-MaIN) as art director, Reiko Iwasawa (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) as color designer, Shigeki Asakawa (Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS) as director of photography, Naoki Tsuji (Tiger Mask) as CG director, and Kiyotaka Taguchi as sound director.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The original dark fantasy manga series by King of Thorn‘s Yuji Iwahara began serialization on LINE Manga on August 12, 2020, and also began publication on Media Factory’s Comic Alive+ website starting April 24, 2024. Seven digital volumes have been released by Line Digital Frontier as of April 2024.
Clevatess follows the titular demon king who is pitted against 13 heroes sent to subjugate him. One of the heroes is Alicia, who has looked up to heroes from a very young age. However, their actions invite the potential devastation of humanity, and the world’s last hope lies with a human baby that Clevatess takes in.
