An anime adaptation of the Red Cat Ramen cooking manga series has been announced. A teaser visual featuring one of the main feline characters was released. Further details about the adaptation have not yet been revealed.
The original manga series is written and illustrated by Angyaman and was originally launched on Shueisha’s Jump Rookie website from November 26, 2021 to February 20, 2022. It was later serialized in the Shonen Jump+ online magazine on March 14, 2022, before being promoted to regular serialization on October 2, 2022. Five tankoubon volumes have been released as of September 2023, with a sixth volume due out on December 4, 2023.

The manga was a nominee in the eighth Next Manga Awards in 2022 for the web manga category and ranked fifth out of 50 entries. The series also ranked fifteenth in the Nationwide Bookstore Employees’ Recommended Comics of 2023.
MANGA Plus releases the Red Cat Ramen manga in English digitally and describes the synopsis as:
Meet Tamako, who’s found her way into an interview at a ramen shop run solely by cats. When the feline manager asks if she likes cats, Tamako admits that she’s actually more of a dog person…only to be hired on the spot! But her job description isn’t quite what she expects — rather than serving ramen, she’s now a dedicated cat caretaker…?!
