The first chapter of Bartlet Fairy Basslet, a new serialized manga from Claymore‘s Norihiro Yagi, has landed in English on MANGA Plus. The Shueisha title simultaneously debuted in Japan on Shonen Jump Plus.
Bartlet Fairy Basslet follows the warrior princess Brunhilde, whose long-awaited defeat of an enemy is followed by an unexpected development. The English synopsis describes it as a “hack and slash fantasy epic.”
Yagi’s previous serialization, Ariadne in the Blue Sky, was a Shogakukan title that began in 2017 and released its 22nd and final volume in 2023. That manga followed a boy who is a human weapon created for a previous war and a princess from an aerial city who is being pursued by mechanized forces.
