KOMODO announced last week that its NIUHI digital manga service is merging with the KOMODO STATION online store and rebranding as KOMODO Manga & Comics.

The company stated in a press release that the rebrand will “help independent creators share their stories with more readers around the world” and that KOMODO Manga & Comics will provide “creators new opportunities to reach audiences across the broader KOMODO community.” Additionally, it plans to make its manga and comics content available to readers in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan for the first time.

New manga and comic titles will also be released every Monday through the end of the year. The first two new additions include the series My Brothers Make Me Stronger by Sammy & Salem (available in traditional Chinese and English) and Goodbye, Red-Haired Long by Light Comics Studios (available in English and Japanese).

KOMODO launched the NIUHI manga platform on the iOS App Store in the U.S. and Japan on December 1, 2025. It added several manga from Manga Mavericks Books to its service this past March.
