Earlier this week, vocaloid producer and illustrator Harumaki Gohan released an animated music video for the song “My Bad,” which features Hatsune Miku vocals and stars the character Mari from their ongoing doppelganger-themed Playing Sister (Onee-chan Gokko) anime project.
Per an X/Twitter post from Harumaki Gohan, who directed and composited the animation, the video depicts a protagonist who is unable to forget the things they want to forget.
The post also offered a vague update for the second of Playing Sister‘s tentatively planned three episodes. “Lately, I’ve been locked in my room, unable to to release a new song unless I make an anime episode,” Harumaki Gohan wrote. “Hence, the fact that a new song was released can be taken to mean that a certain anime’s second episode is also, broadly speaking, being completed (it’s not being completed) (what am I saying?).” The concluding sentence suggests that the episode, or at least something related to it, will arrive soon.
