Ninja Scroll, the 1993 anime film by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, is set to screen in cinemas across Australia and New Zealand from October 8th, 2026. The theatrical run will feature the digitally restored 4K presentation.
Tickets for the October screening go on sale from 10 September. The film will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles.
Having premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, the restoration of Ninja Scroll was produced by Sentai and supervised by director Yoshiaki Kawajiri, using the original 35mm camera negative.
