A second season of the freshly concluded Victoria of Many Faces TV anime, which ran for nine episodes, has been announced. There will also be other new anime content outside of that sequel season.
Victoria of Many Faces (Tefuda ga Ome no Victoria) is an adaptation of the light novel series by Syuu, with the premise seeing a spy leaving behind her life to become a normal person, and becoming involved with an abandoned girl and a knight leader. It debuted on July 7, 24:00 JST (effectively July 8, 00:00 JST) and was streamed outside Japan on platforms like Crunchyroll, the Ani-One Asia YouTube channel, and Bilibili.
Nobukage Kimura (A Town Where You Live assistant director) directed the anime at Studio Deen. Other staff include series composer Naohiro Fukushima (My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World) and character designer Mina Osawa (Given).
On the cast side, Chika Anzai played the titular Victoria Sellers, while Shion Wakayama played the girl Nonna, and Yohei Azakami played knight captain Jeffrey Asher.
The Victoria of Many Faces light novel series, which is published under KADOKAWA’s MF Books label, began in 2022 and has three volumes as of 2024. Nanna Fujimi was the initial illustrator before Komo Ushino took over for Volume 3. There is a manga adaptation.
