Japanese entertainment media are reporting the announcement of a TV anime adaptation of the My Crush’s Crush (Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito) manga. A commemorative illustration from the manga’s artist Ryo Tsuzura was also shared.
The news comes almost a week after Yen Press announced its acquisition of the manga, which is written by Sekina Aoi, the author of the Gamers and Playful Relationships (Asobi no Kankei) light novels. Here’s the publisher’s description for it:
When Sora Akizuki confesses his feelings to Miya Fuwa, he gets rejected outright. As it turns out, she likes Asahi Suzukaze, the president of the mysterious “Clinical Trials Club.” When he joins the club to learn more about Asahi, he discovers that she also has a crush on someone else! Could this chain of crushes get any more complicated…?
My Crush’s Crush debuted in the December 1, 2022 issue (released on November 9, 2022) of Hakusensha’s Young Animal ZERO. Today (August 28 in Japan) is the release date of the manga’s seventh volume.
