The Giant Ojo-sama TV anime adaptation has received a teaser visual and a January 2027 broadcast start window. Some staff details for the Tatsunoko Pro production were also revealed, including Hiroshi Ikehata‘s (Dark Gathering) involvement as director and Hajime Mitsuda‘s (Food for the Soul) character design and chief animation director roles.
Giant Ojo-sama is based on the manga by Nikumura Q. The story is a comedy that follows Oriko Fujido, a wealthy girl who received a town as a birthday present when she was four years old. When giant enemies suddenly attack her beloved town, Oriko’s butler Sebastian gives her a giantification drink.
The manga began running on Shueisha’s Sunday Webry in 2021 and will get its 12th tankobon volume on August 10, 2026. A “pilot version” preceded the current serialization.
Correction: Amended the spelling of Oriko’s first name.
