October 16 has been revealed to be the release date of the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Prima Aurora movie.
Accompanying this new detail were a visual, a preview of the main characters’ new casual wear, and a video sharing footage and some of the previously mentioned reveals. There’s also a synopsis, which explains that the movie takes place in spring, over half a year after the redebut of Ave Mujica. It’s a time of success for the band, and for their next performance, Sakiko has suggested a “secret masquerade.”
The staff list shows the return of the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica TV anime’s Kodai Kakimoto (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!, BanG Dream! 2nd Season and 3rd Season) as director. Some of the other listed names are:

Additionally, the animation production credit lists Sanzigen’s NICHICALINE brand instead of Sanzigen itself.
Two of the TV anime’s scriptwriters, Midori Goto and Akiko Waba, are responsible for the movie’s script.
BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Prima Aurora is part of the band-themed BanG Dream! multimedia franchise, which began in 2015 with a manga series. The preceding TV anime was a sequel to another series titled BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!, focusing on the Ave Mujica band instead of the previous show’s MyGO. A TV sequel to both is scheduled to begin airing next January.
