This week’s character trailer and visual combo for the upcoming Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! TV anime shines the spotlight on Tan Otori, the strangely dressed PR officer of the show’s student council who comes off as playful and teasing in the former. It was also revealed that Hiyori Kono (The Idolmaster franchise’s Kaho Komiya) is voicing the character.
Previously highlighted were Hisako Kotobuki, Ume Mizunoe, and Komaro Michinoku.
Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!, or There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization!) is an adaptation of Muchimaro‘s Kodansha-published 4-koma manga, about a student council that’s a little weird. Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! animated PV chief director, Nisekoi) is directing the anime at Passione. Other staff include character designer Ryo Imamura (PV storyboard artist, unit director, character designer et al., Onimai character designer et al.,) and series composer and scriptwriter Masahiro Yokotani (Re: ZERO series composer and co-scriptwriter).
The Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2022 and has 12 volumes of March 2026. In July 2024, an animated trailer was released and became the Shonen Magazine YouTube channel’s most popular video, with over 4.6 million views at the time of writing.
