A teaser trailer and main voice cast have been revealed for the upcoming Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion! TV anime series, which will premiere in Japan in October 2026.
The anime’s voice cast will be headlined by Mikako Komatsu as Rose and Yohei Azakami as Harij.
Keizo Kusakawa (Parallel World Pharmacy) is directing the anime series, with Wataru Watari (The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, as I Expected light novel author) as series composer, Masakazu Ishikawa (Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Seasons 1-2) as character designer, and Hayato Matsumura as music composer. Diomedéa is in charge of the animation production.
The romantic comedy fantasy light novel series is written by Eiko Mutsuhana and illustrated by Vient. It was published under Futabasha’s M Novels f imprint from October 16, 2019 to March 16, 2020. Two total volumes were published in Japan. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro that was released from April 2019 to March 2020. Cross Infinite World licensed the light novel for digital English release in 2020. The Japanese title is Domo, Suki na Hito ni Horegusuri o Iraisareta Majo desu or HoreMajo for short.
A manga adaptation by Kamada was launched in August 2020. Yen Press licensed the manga for English release in digital and print formats under the title Hi, I’m a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion.
