Jimoto Saiko Manga Gets Anime featured image

An anime adaptation of the Jimoto Saiko manga has been announced as part of the MAPPA 15th Anniversary Lineup Reveal. It will stream on Netflix internationally.

Tokio Igarashi is directing the anime with character designs by Rio. A pre-animated announcement trailer and a teaser visual were released.

Jimoto Saiko is based on the manga by Usagi. The series follows Chanel-chan, whose hometown is a sordid place with violence, drugs, and other issues. Originally a Twitter comic that started in 2021, its first volume was published in 2022 by Saizusha, and there are eight volumes as of 2025.
