CHAINSAW MAN THE STAGE  is the stage play adaptation of the Chainsaw Man anime series. It ran from September to October 2023 in both Tokyo and Kyoto. It’s second stage play, CHAINSAW MAN THE STAGE – Reze Arc, is scheduled to perform from July 25 to August 12, 2026 in both Tokyo and Kyoto.

The 2.5D stage play adaptation of Chainsaw Man is based on the original manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The manga ran from December 2018 to March 2026, with a total of 24 volumes. It also inspired an anime adaptation, a film, and a novel.

Viz Media has licensed and has published the manga in English. It describes the synopsis of the first volume as:

Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!

“CHAINSAW MAN” THE STAGE is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.
