A key visual, trailer, and main theme song artists have been revealed for the second cour of the Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star short spinoff anime series. The short anime’s second cour will premiere in Japan on July 6, 2026.
The second cour’s main opening theme song is “I’m a Loser” by The Candellz, while the ending theme song is “Shiroi Cho ga Tondara” by Itsuka Saisei featuring Dr. Washington and special guest guitarist Tsuyoshi Ujiki.
Daisuke Miura is serving as the animation director at Do-Raku, with Seiji Miura as music composer.
Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star is the first release from the new “anime production” label Animatica, which is a collaboration between motion comics production company Do-Raku and Frontier Works.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast stars:

The first cour of the short anime series was released in Japan from January 5, 2026 to March 23, 2026. It is known in Japanese as Hokuto no Ken: Ken’o-gun Zako-tachi no Banka.
The Fist of the North Star spinoff gag manga series by Hiroshi Kurao began serialization on Coamix’s Manga Hot app service on November 26, 2017. It concluded on February 23, 2020, with a total of three tankobon volumes being released in Japan.
The 2026 Fist of the North Star: Hokuto no Ken TV anime series first premiered in Japan on April 11, 2026 and is streaming on Prime Video in select countries and territories worldwide.
Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star follows a man named Nobu, who has recently joined Ken-Oh’s army, but struggles to survive in a dangerous workplace.
