Japanese animation studio WIT Studio has been tapped by StelLive, a South Korean VTuber agency, to animate a music video for its recently released single ‘STAR TRAIL’. Released on May 8, the track is sung by the agency’s talents Ayatsuno Yuni, Shirayuki Hina, Neneko Mashiro, Akane Lize, Arahashi Tabi, Tenko Shibuki, Aokumo Rin, Hanako Nana, and Yuzuha Riko.

Yuki Kamiya, who worked on the storyboards for anime series such as Chainsaw Man, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2, Oblivion Battery, and Urusei Yatsura (2024), served as the producer and supervisor for this MV project. Meanwhile, Kazuki Yamanaka, who has previously worked on titles such as the Spy x Family series, Attack on Titan, and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, served as animation producer.
Takahiro Uematsu is credited as the production controller, while Ayana Kanno was the project’s unit manager. Composition was done by Shunsuke Taniguchi (MAPPA) and Takeru Yokoi (WIT STUDIO), with Ken Fujitani (MAPPA) overseeing the photography unit management.
Aside from WIT Studio, several anime studios also worked on the music video’s in-between animation and ‘scan & paint’ work, including Studio Colorido, Asahi Production, mindo studio, studio TOKORO, grain, and STUDIO MASSKET.
StelLive was established in April 2023 by GANGZI, a Korean streamer who currently leads the agency as well. It has an existing partnership with Korean Internet music label Accelers for music production. In July 2025, StelLive was acquired by Japanese holding company Brave group, making the agency a subsidiary of said company.
