Two more voice cast members are joining the upcoming The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin airing in Japan in July 2026.
Ryohei Kimura, who recently voiced Yuga in There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her, will voice Aleksis Josef Ralt (left). Ryota Suzuki, who is voicing Yashiro in Scum of the Brave, will voice Jere Ekrous (right).
They join a previously announced voice cast that include:
- • Yui Ishikawa as Elsa Eukrainen
- • Soma Saito as Julius Royus
- • Kaito Ishikawa as Yalmo Parnila
- • Chika Anzai as Serafina Parnila
- • Hibiku Yamamura as Rebeka Rikkonen
- • Junya Enoki as Hannes Eukrainen
Hitoyuki Matsui is directing the series with Tomoko Konporu (Kimi ni Todoke – From Me To You) as series composer and Yuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) as character designer. ZERO-G and GRASS are in charge of the animation production.
The romance fantasy manga series is written by Kei Misawa and illustrated by Natsu Nizuno. It has been serialized as a web comic on Flex Comix’s COMIC Polaris since February 24, 2021. Five tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of March 2026. The series is also known in Japanese as Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai Shitekimasu.
The manga also inspired a light novel adaptation in October 2021.
