A TV anime adaptation of the Kanojo no Tomodachi manga series has been announced and will premiere sometime in 2026. The voice cast, staff, and animation studio for the series have not been revealed, as of the time of writing.

A celebratory illustration drawn by original creator Jyura was also posted on their Twitter/X account.

The anime will be released as part of WWWave Corporation‘s “Deregula” label. It has released other short-form adult anime adaptations such as the upcoming Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san and Ingoku Danchi.
Jyura’s manga series was first serialized on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web service on May 21, 2021. Six tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of October 2025.
The series centers on a young high schooler named Takeru, who is seduced and tempted by his girlfriend’s friend, Tomoko.
