Ahead of the Lines of Evangelion exhibition’s debut at Hong Kong’s Incubase Arena on May 23, the Evangelion X/Twitter account has recently revealed a special illustration featuring the Rebuild movies’ Eva pilots on a pedestrian crossing in the city, neon signs and vehicles in the background.
The exhibition will run until July 12, with tickets currently on sale through Klook and INCUTIX. According to the former, Lines of Evangelion “will artistically reimagine the contours of classic characters, the intricate structural lines of the mecha, and Hideaki Anno’s iconic typographic designs (such as his distinctive use of Mincho typeface), allowing visitors to re-examine the subtle components that form this grand worldview.”
Klook says that more than five hundred key frames will be on display, and that there will also be background art, original illustrations for the Hong Kong exhibition, easter eggs, and exclusive merchandise. Evangelion Character Student Cards are being offered as freebies with ticket purchases.
Lines of Evangelion was originally held at AK PLAZA Hongdae in South Korea from August to September 2025.
