LUNAR PULSE, a roguelite card game that bills itself as a “duel-driven” experience, has been announced for Steam with a 2027 release date.
A trailer that was released with the game’s announcement provides a short look at how that plays out, as well as some of the witches who are central to the premise. Based on the preview, players and opponents will both be using straightforward cards like “Strike,” “Dodge,” “Parry,” “Guard,” and a heavy attack card.
LUNAR PULSE‘s setup sees the protagonist, referred to as the “Lilith of Heresy,” summoned to a world as “a thirteenth witch never meant to be there” and “forced into a ritual alongside twelve other witches (the ‘Liliths’) where each of their very existences is on the line.” There will be multiple endings based on your choices, and as each one “reveals more of the lore—and more of the hidden truth about the protagonist herself.”
Murder Mystery Paradox: Fifteen Years of Summer‘s 213℉ is co-developing the upcoming roguelite card battler with Gianty, and is also the publisher. The game will have narration by voice actor and singer Teiko Nanahara (Death end re;Quest 2’s Cooler Sheldon, Medalist‘s Yuki Uyama).
