Disney Japan and Aniplex‘s Disney’s Twisted-Wonderland has revealed two new characters and cast members. It was announced during AnimeJapan 2026. Just like the rest of the mobile game, Black Butler’s Yana Toboso is in charge of the character designs for the new characters.
They are introduced in the current story arc, “Book 8: Enforcer of the Forbidden.” The characters and the cast are as follows:
- • Shogo Sakamoto as Rielle Corallia (Ariel from The Little Mermaid)
• Ryota Osaka as Minajael Tealrajah (Jasmine from Aladdin)
This is Sakamoto’s third voice acting project, following The Royal Tutor: The Movie and Try Knight. Sakamoto is a Japanese actor and singer known for his roles as the fourth-generation Ryoma Echizen in The Prince of Tennis musicals and the first Ciel Phantomhive in the Black Butler musicals.
Both Rielle and Minajael are students at the rival school, Royal Sword Academy, and are among the seven heroines in the classic Disney movies.
Disney’s Twisted-Wonderland was released in Japan in 2020 before Aniplex released it globally in 2022. The game was inspired by many Disney movies, with a focus on the Disney villains. Black Butler’s author, Yana Toboso, is in charge of the original plan, main script, and character designs. The game has inspired a manga, light novels, and anime adaptations. Disney’s Twisted-Wonderland The Animation “Season 1 Episode of Heartslabyul” premiered in October 2025 with a total of eight episodes and can be streamed exclusively on Disney+. In November 2025, Disney announced that the second season, “Episode of Savanaclaw,” is already in production, with the third season, “Episode of Octavinelle,” currently in production.
