A TV anime adaptation of the Shio Taio no Sato san ga Ore dake amai romantic comedy light novels will debut this year.
A teaser trailer and key visual have been unveiled.
Fumihiro Yoshimura (My Wife Has No Emotion) is directing the anime at Tezuka Productions. Daisuke Okushima is the character designer.
The main stars are Hiiro Ishibashi as Sota Oshio and Miku Ito as the titular Koharu Sato, who is typically cold towards others. The two characters are classmates with a mutual attraction.
Shio Taio no Sato san ga Ore dake amai (ShioAma) is written by Kazami Sawatari and illustrated by Achiki. The series began in 2019, and its 12th main volume was released on March 18, 2026 (JST), the date of the anime’s announcement. The books are published under the Shogakukan Gagaga Bunko label/imprint.
ShioAma was initially a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel. There is a manga drawn by Kaya Tetsuyama.
