Ufotable Confirms Future Projects Including Genshin Impact, Demon Slayer, and Kagetsuki/Touken Ranbu featured image

Animation Studio, ufotable Studio, has teased its future projects, which include Genshin Impact, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Kagetuski/Touken Ranbu. It was announced on February 21, 2026, on their official YouTube channel under the “Future Project” category.

The Genshin Impact anime project was first announced in September 2022 by miHoYo (HoYoverse). While no new information was given, the video affirmed that ufotable is still a part of the project and producing the adaptation. The video showed a teaser of the main characters, Lumine and Aether. Genshin Impact is a gacha action-roleplaying game released in 2020. It is known for its immersive storytelling, openworld gamplay, and battle system.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part 2 is also one of the studio’s future projects and showed the official logo for the movie. It is the second part of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba trilogy film that covers the original manga’s “Infinity arc” and the final battle of the series. The first part of the trilogy film was released in 2025.

Kagetsuki/Touken Ranbu was also confirmed since it was first announced in 2021. No information has been released aside from the fact that the movie is confirmed as well as one of ufotable’s future projects. The TV anime series of Kagestuki/Touken Ranbu aired in 2017.
