A second trailer for the Classroom of the Elite 4th Season (Yokoso Jitsuryoku Shijoshugi no Kyoshitsu e 4th Season Ninensei Ichigakki) TV anime has been released. It was also revealed that the show will begin airing on April 1, with the first four episodes included in the premiere.

Additionally, it was announced that the new season’s opening theme song is “MONSTER” by Eir Aoi, while “Liar Viel” by ZAO is the ending song.

Classroom of the Elite is based on the KADOKAWA-published light novels written by Syogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Tomoseshunsaku. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the books as such:

Students of the prestigious Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School are given remarkable freedom—if they can win, barter, or save enough points to work their way up the ranks! Ayanokoji Kiyotaka has landed at the bottom in the scorned Class D, where he meets Horikita Suzune, who’s determined to rise up the ladder to Class A. Can they beat the system in a school where cutthroat competition is the name of the game?

The Classroom of the Elite light novel series, which is published under the MF Bunko J label, began in 2015. It entered the next part of the story in 2020 with Classroom of the Elite: Year 2. Classroom of the Elite: Year 3‘s first volume debuted in March 2025.

The first season of the anime started airing in 2017. The second season arrived in 2022. Season 3 premiered in 2024, after being delayed from 2023.

There are several Classroom of the Elite manga, comprised of adaptations of parts of the light novels and a spin-off title centered on protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and Suzune Horikita.

Update: Added that the premiere includes the first four episodes.
