A key visual has been revealed for the short anime adaptation of illustrator Juno’s mofusand cat character series. The first episode is now available to watch on YouTube.
New episodes of mofusand will be released weekly, starting on January 7, 2026 at 8:00 AM JST on the QTORY YouTube channel. It will also be released on other streaming platforms later on.
A new illustration from original creator Juno was released to celebrate the short anime adaptation.
Hazumu Sakuta (JOCHUM) is directing the short anime series, with Sei Yoshitsuki (Bananya Around the World co-scriptwriter) as scriptwriter, Yoshinari Irikawa as CG director, Yuka Iwasaki as lead animator, and Shota Kowashi (Solo Camping for Two) as music composer. Monster’s Egg is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars:
