The third character visual from Scenes from Awajima has been released. The highlighted characters are Emi Okabe and Katsurako Ibuki, who will be voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara and Ayumi Tsunematsu, respectively.
Scenes from Awajima (Awajima Hyakkei) is based on the omnibus manga by Takako Shimura, which revolves around characters related to the Awashima Girls’ Opera School. The anime will begin airing in April 2026.
The Ohta Publishing-published manga began in June 2011 and ended in March 2024. It was first serialized in the now-defunct Pocopoco before moving to Ohta Web Comic. The series received an Award for Excellence in the manga category of the 19th Japan Media Arts Festival.
