Medalist‘s first season aired during the Winter 2025 anime season. The anime is based on the Kodansha-published manga by Tsurumaikada, which began serialization in seinen magazine Monthly Afternoon in 2020 and has 13 volumes as of June 2025. Kodansha USA describes the source material as such:

Tsukasa, whose dreams were crushed. Inori, left to fend for herself. These two share a dream…and their tenacity may be the only thing that sees them through. Their destination? The ice…on the world’s stage!
