The official Twitter/X account of the ongoing The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess TV anime series has announced the casting of two new characters. The anime premiered in Japan on October 8, 2025.
The two new cast members include Daiki Kobayashi as Kagura Ivy and Kentaro Kumagai as Shukuna. Both characters are expected to appear in the anime’s 10th episode on December 11, 2025.
They join a main voice cast that stars:

- • Makoto Furukawa as Ginoford Dandelion

Hiroaki Sakurai (The Demon Girl Next Door) is directing the anime series, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time) as series composer and Tomoyo Sawada (We Love Rice) as character designer. Studio Deen is in charge of the animation production.
The romantic comedy isekai manga series by Akiharu Touka debuted in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine on August 24, 2018 and has released 16 tankobon volumes as of May 2025, which includes a short story collection. Yen Press licensed manga for release in English.
Crunchyroll is streaming the The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess anime series in select countries and territories worldwide. It describes the main premise as:
