A first teaser visual has been unveiled for the upcoming third cour of Dr. Stone Science Future, highlighting several of the main characters setting their sights towards the moon. The show’s third and final cour is scheduled to premiere in Japan sometime in 2026.

Shuhei Matsushita (Dr. Stone Ryusei and Dr. Stone New World) will continue serving as director for the series, with Kurasumi Sunayama (The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest) as series composer, and Yuko Iwasa (returning) as character designer. TMS Entertainment is handling the animation production.

Dr. Stone Science Future serves as the fourth and final season of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation, which consists of three split cours. Science Future’s first cour aired in Japan from January 9, 2025 to March 27, 2025 and also aired for 12 episodes. The second cour aired in Japan on July 10, 2025 and ran for 12 episodes until September 25, 2025.
The first season of Dr. Stone was released in 2019, which was followed by the second season of Stone Wars in 2021. The third season, Dr. Stone: New World, premiered its first cour in April 2023 and the second cour in October 2023.
The original adventure science fiction manga series is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, which ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 6, 2017 to March 7, 2022. A total of 27 tankobon volumes were released in Japan. VIZ Media releases the manga in English.
