The Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- TV anime has received its first trailer and the announcement of a January 11 premiere date.
Other reveals include the addition of Ayaka Miyoshi and Junichi Suwabe to the cast, and an early screening at United Cinema Toyosu on January 8. There are also plans to put up posters of the anime at fire stations in Japan.
Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- will follow a group of firefighters during the Edo era. It is inspired by Shogo Imamura‘s 2017 historical firefighting novel Hikuidori, which is part of the Naoki Prize winner’s Ushuboro Tobigumi series. SynergySP is the animation production studio.
