A main trailer and main visual for anime compilation film The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie have been released. The former previews some Kana Ichikawa band performance footage and the newly announced Yorushika theme song “Madder” (“Akane”).

The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie is set to premiere in Japan on February 13, 2026, and will receive releases in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, Chile, Peru, some Central American locations, and other places. It includes re-edited sections as well as post-Season 2 content, like a live performance scene of Kana and a certain Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada moment.

The first season of the romantic comedy anime ran from April to June 2023, while Season 2 aired during the Winter 2024 anime season. It’s based on the Akita Shoten-published manga by Norio Sakurai, which Seven Seas Entertainment describes as such:

Quirky courtship awaits in this comedy nominated for the 2020 Manga Taisho Award!

Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
