December 25 will see the Japanese release of “Borrowed Time” N (“Yomei” n Nen), a new light novel based on an original story by voice actress Yumiri Hanamori (Gachiakuta‘s Riyo, Hell’s Paradise‘s Yamada Asaemon Sagiri).
Originally announced on October 31, the light novel is written by Misaki Saginomiya and illustrated by Tsubasa Yamaguchi. The English description on the cover illustration reads:
Aria transfers to a seaside school and meets Haruki, a boy with a mysterious air. As she becomes his art model, the two slowly grow closer. But neither of them knows yet that an unfathomable distance, an eternal divide, lies between them.
The Japanese synopsis provides slightly more details, describing the book as a love story of “separation and rebirth” between an immortal and a mortal.
The X (formerly Twitter) account of the book’s publishing label Media Works Bunko announced on November 27 that signed copies (containing Hanamori’s and Saginomiya’s signatures) will be sold, with orders to begin on December 1.
Hanamori is set to appear in the upcoming Hell’s Paradise Season 2, Scum of the Brave, and The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom.
