A January 8, 2026 premiere date (effectively January 9 at 1:28 AM JST) has been announced for Anyway, I’m Falling in Love Season 2. A visual featuring fireworks was also released.
Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You is based on the manga by Haruka Mitsui, which began serialization in Kodansha’s shojo magazine Nakayoshi in 2020 and has 12 volumes as of August 2025. Kodansha USA describes the manga as such:
Love in the time of COVID-19? This new series pits the the crushes, nostalgia, and friendship of shojo manga against a crushing pandemic. Can it be that a determined high school girl is more resilient than anyone expected? Guaranteed to delight fans of popular romance comics like Komi Can’t Communicate and Skip and Loafer.
The first season of the anime premiered in January 2025 and ran for 12 episodes.
Crunchyroll will stream the new season in January 2026.
