Chinese animated series False Memory (Jiyi Guanli Ju) will premiere in the summer of 2026, a new trailer has revealed. It will stream exclusively on Bilibili, at least in China.

The upcoming series is a Flint Sugar and Studio Tumble co-production made “in collaboration” with Bilibili. Currently, beyond last December’s official trailer, there is an 18-minute animation with an English dub and a concept trailer, both of which are well-worth watching if you’re into cool action and direction. The description of the 18-minute short reads:

When the world around you isn’t what it seems, you may be in the midst of a Bug Man; powerful being who can warp the very nature of one’s memories. The Memory Collectors are here to bring order… whether we like it or not.

The False Memory short had BlackLine and Shuyu Li sharing direction, storyboard, screenplay, and character design credits. The concept trailer mentioned in its description that the series will debut in the “second half of 2025.”
