Some updates have rolled in for the Ichigo Aika ~Zatsu de Namaiki na Imoto to Warikirenai Ani~ TV anime adaptation, revealing a January 2026 premiere, its main cast, and staff lineup. There’s also a key visual, depicting the titular Aika with two strawberries (ichigo).
The two leads of the anime are Hana Yurimoto as Aika and Yuta Igarashi as stepbrother Kota Takamura. Modaete yo, Adam-kun‘s Piyuta Konon is directing, and studio Hōkiboshi is the animation production studio (they were initially mentioned with the kanji typically used to refer to the planning/financing type of production during the anime’s announcement).
Ichigo Aika is based on an erotic stepsibling romance manga written by Hirafumi and drawn by Yagi Shinba. It’s an Anime Festa Original, like Modaete yo, Adam-kun and Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun!
