A second trailer for the upcoming Dead Account TV anime adaptation has been released.
It was also revealed that the anime’s episodes will have their broadcast premieres on Saturdays at 11:30 PM JST, though an exact date wasn’t announced. It was previously known that the show would premiere sometime in January 2026.
Dead Account is based on the manga by Shizumu Watanabe, where protagonist Soji joins a school for exorcists that faces spirits who digitized themselves following the spread of the internet. The manga began serialization in 2023 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and is currently running on Magazine Pocket. 11 volumes have been released as of June 2025.

A “team roguelite” game adaptation for iOS, Android, and PC (via STOVE) was recently announced and is being developed by IANGAMES. The game is titled Dead Account ~Futatsu no Aoi Hono~ and will have a global release.
