The Lucca Comics & Games 2025 event will hold a world premiere screening for the first episode of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4.

The screening session is to be held at Cinema Astra on November 1 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM (times are presumably in local time). Rie Takahashi (Emilia) has been announced as a guest.

Takahashi is also partaking in October 31’s autograph session. Beyond these, the Italian convention will have a Re:ZERO booth (within Crunchyroll’s) from October 29 to November 2.

Re:ZERO Season 4 is set for a 2026 release and will be streamed by Crunchyroll. The sequel season’s premise reads:

In the deadly battle at the Watergate City of Priestella, Subaru and his allies barely emerged victorious—but their triumph came at a great cost.
Through the “Authority of Gluttony,” Rem remains in an unending sleep, while Crusch’s memories and even Julius’s name were devoured.
As he searches for a way to save them, Subaru learns of the “wise man” Shaula—an all-seeing being said to possess every form of knowledge.
His next destination is the Pleiades Watchtower, home to a wise man, the farthest tower standing in the vast, uncharted desert known as the Auguria Dunes—a place so perilous that even the mightiest “Sword Saint,” Reinhard, failed to conquer it.
The fury of nature, unknown mabeasts, and unimaginable dangers lie ahead.
Together with his friends, Subaru embarks on a life-risking journey to reclaim what was lost.

The first three seasons premiered in 2016, 2020, and 2024, with the latter two having split cours. The third season’s second arc premiered in February 2025.

The anime is based on the isekai light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka, which sees shut-in teenager Natsuki Subaru getting transported to a fantasy world where he has to use his upon-death time loop ability to resolve the various dangerous situations he finds himself in.

The Re:ZERO light novel series, published under KADOKAWA’s MF Bunko J label and available in English from Yen Press, began in 2014 and has 42 main volumes as of September 25, 2025. The story began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel.
