A second trailer for One-Punch Man Season 3 has been released just a couple of days before its October 5 JST (effectively October 6 at 12:45 AM JST) premiere.

At close to two minutes, this is the longest look at the upcoming anime so far. Expect to see plenty of heroes and monsters, Saitama forgetting his wallet, and the teasing of a showdown between the strongest and the wickedest (both are pronounced saikyo in Japanese).

Also unveiled was the jacket cover for One-Punch Man Season 3 opening song “Get No Satisfied!” (by JAM Project feat.BABYMETAL), which features an intimidating Saitama standing atop ruins with a fist in the air.

Additionally, it was announced that an exhibition commemorating the anime’s 10th anniversary will be held in Tokyo in summer 2026. More details will be revealed later.

One-Punch Man Season 3 will be streamed outside Japan on platforms like Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Bilibili. The anime, based on the Shueisha-published manga drawn by Yusuke Murata and serialized on the seinen manga site Tonari no Young Jump, continues the story of the overpowered superhero Saitama.

The new season was announced in 2022. Main staff were revealed in February 2024, but director Shinpei Nagai‘s (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-sanI Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying) involvement was kept hidden until September 2025. In an X (formerly Twitter) post, Nagai said that “since I’m relatively unknown and don’t have standout achievements as an animator, I thought it might give a bad impression, so I asked to keep it under wraps.”

The manga began in 2012 and has 35 volumes as of October 3, 2025 JST. It is inspired by the self-published web manga by ONE, which started in 2009. VIZ Media describes the plot as such:

Every time a promising villain appears, Saitama beats the snot out of ’em with one punch! Can he finally find an opponent who can go toe-to-toe with him and give his life some meaning? Or is he doomed to a life of superpowered boredom?

The anime’s first season (directed by Shingo Natsume and produced by Madhouse) premiered in 2015, while the second season (directed by Chikara Sakurai at J.C.STAFF) premiered in 2019.
